I just finished reading this interesting blog post that shares 50 ways to overcome failure.
The thing I like about this post is that most of the suggestions are very practical things you can do right now. And the comments left by readers add even more value to the post.
Have a read and let me know your thoughts

This Wednesday 23rd December I am out on the road with the YES Group Basket Brigade. The Basket Brigade is an annual event (inspired by Anthony Robbins) where 100s of volunteers come together in the spirit of giving.
As you already know, Christmas is all about giving. And on the 23rd, we distribute Christmas baskets to people like you and me, who – for whatever reason – are going through a rough patch in their life right now.
Not only is this a spiritually rewarding experience, it’s also a great way of giving back and expressing gratitude for the things we already have in life. I cannot even begin to express the joy you feel when you see just how this simple gift of giving can have a major impact on some ones life.
Because you’re not only giving gifts, you’re also giving hope to someone who might need it more than most.
And for that reason, I would like to invite you to join me and the rest of the volunteers in the Christmas spirit of giving hope – this Wednesday 23rd of December 2009 – and together we can help a family have a Merry Christmas.

I look forward to ‘just giving’ with you.

Right now I’m reading Susan Jeffers ‘Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway‘
Why?
Because over the last couple of months I’ve been stepping so much outside my comfort zone that fear has become a constant companion…
Fear of the unknown…
Fear of looking stupid…
Fear of failure…
Fear of success…
Fear of sharing my fears with you.
Fortunately, I have some great mentors and friends supporting and pushing me to move beyond my fears. And as a result, my comfort zone is constantly expanding – sometimes on a daily basis.
Which is why I often feel scared and uncomfortable.
See here’s the thing… Read the rest of this page »

This post has been reproduced from the files of Bob Proctor…
Many years ago a young lady who was attending a seminar shared an interesting story with me.
Apparently she and two or three of her girlfriends went and tried out for a place in a stage play. She got the starring role while her girlfriends were not even picked for the supporting cast.
Opening night she said she was really excited but afterwards became very disappointed when her girlfriends never came out and supported her.
She was explaining the situation to an elderly friend of her fathers named Hap. He wrote her a letter and she gave me a copy with her permission to share it with others.
Read it carefully and think…

Here’s Jim Rohn with four simple questions that’ll make a BIG difference to your life…
Over the weekend, the great Jim Rohn passed away.
And although he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit still lives on.
If you don’t know his work, now might be a good time to get familiar with it…and if you do, there’s no time like the present to remember why he was held in such high esteem.
Share this with your friends and family so they too can experience greatness.
Thank You for everything Jim…I trust your soul rests in peace.
