30 Day Challenge – Day 30+ (Shaking like a junkie…)

30Two days ago I successfully completed my 30 day challenge — and was unable to blog about it because I was away delivering workshops on a 3 day residential program.

Whilst there I woke at 5am every morning as normal. And although I spent the 3 days taking part in physically challenging exercises like archery, paint balling, map navigating and camp building, I wasn’t able to do my daily 6 mile ride.

This left me ‘shaking like a junkie’. It was like my body was suffering withdrawals – it just wanted to get out and ride. And now that I have just had my daily 6 mile fix, the shakes have gone.

23Yesterday, whilst on my way to meet one of my clients, I heard a man having a discussion on his phone with someone I’m assuming was his boss.

The 1st day of the 2 day sales and leadership program was very intensive – it started at 9am, finished just gone 11.30pm and I didn’t get  home till around 12.30am.

By the time I finished eating and did some of the assignment we set, it was gone past 1.00am – and now I’m up at 5.00am getting ready to leave home at 6.00am ready for a 7.30am start (so I can spend another hour and a half finishing the rest of my assignment before the program resumes at 9.00am)
